Scrapping a Mercedes-AMG in Aintree
If you have a Mercedes-AMG in Aintree that's reached the end of its life — whether it's failed its MOT, doesn't start, or is a write-off — we'll collect it for free and pay you by bank transfer on the spot. We're approximately 2 miles from Aintree. Collection is same-day or next-day.
As a licensed ATF (permit JP3129MP), we issue a DVLA Certificate of Destruction within 7 days, so you know your Mercedes-AMG has been legally scrapped and you're no longer responsible for it. We're the actual yard — not a lead-reselling aggregator like Scrap Car Comparison or National Scrap Car.

Mercedes-AMG Aintree — FAQs
How much is my scrap Mercedes-AMG worth in Aintree?
Scrap value follows kerb weight: on our formula a typical complete car works out at £165–£440 at £164 per tonne (updated 26 October 2026). Enter your registration above for a quote.
Do you collect Mercedes-AMG cars in Aintree?
Yes. We collect for free in Aintree and all of Merseyside. We're approximately 2 miles from Aintree. Collection is usually same-day or next-day. Access is via the M57/M58, Junction 7 (Switch Island). Just enter your registration above or call us to book.
Can I scrap a Mercedes-AMG without an MOT in Aintree?
Yes. An MOT failure is one of the most common reasons to scrap a car. The MOT status doesn't affect the scrap value — the price is based on weight and condition. We collect MOT failures, non-runners, and insurance write-offs across Aintree.
Will I get a Certificate of Destruction for my Mercedes-AMG?
Yes. We are a licensed ATF (Authorised Treatment Facility, permit JP3129MP) and issue a DVLA Certificate of Destruction within 7 days of collecting your Mercedes-AMG. The CoD is your legal proof that the vehicle has been scrapped. We issue it directly — we are the yard, not a middleman.
What if my Mercedes-AMG doesn't start?
That's fine — we collect non-runners. Just let us know when booking so we bring the right equipment. A car that doesn't run may mean a small deduction, but we'll tell you before collection, not after.
Do Mercedes-AMG catalytic converters have value?
Yes, in the sense that a complete Mercedes-AMG with its cat or DPF is worth more than its steel alone, but the value is inside our per-tonne rate, not a separate line. Leave it on, and tell us at booking if it is missing.
