About the catalytic converter
A catalytic converter cuts exhaust emissions using platinum-group metals (PGMs). Because the value sits in the PGM content, converters are graded by how much they contain. Trading in them is regulated under the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013, which is why we pay by bank transfer and keep records.
